Calgary CFA Level III Prep Course
Welcome to one of the only CFA Level III prep courses taught by a former CFA exam senior grader. Get insights that you won't get anyplace else. If you have failed this level before, then you most likely wrote too much and wrote way off target. Let me show you have to avoid these common mistakes that so many others will make on exam day.
Pass rates for prior CFA candidates enrolled in my Level III classes range from 75% to 91%, depending on the year and location.
My 2020 CFA Level III exam prep classes in Calgary will include weekly classes, several Sunday workshops on the most challenging Level III topics, and ongoing homework assignments that will get you proficient and confident for the notorious morning or "essay" portion of the Level III exam.
All of my CFA courses are personally taught by me, and all of my classroom materials have been written by me, not outsourced from third parties. Nor are my materials outsourced to anybody else, though I am often asked.
At the start of the first class, you will receive a copy of my popular CFA Level III "Fast Track" Power Point slide deck. "Fast Track" leverages off my 20 years of global CFA teaching experience and is designed to save you dozens of hours of tedious curriculum reading. "Fast Track" gets you into solving challenging problems right from the start, allowing you to easier climb your way to top percentile rankings on the CFA Institute's online Ecosystem question bank.
You will also receive two separate versions of my 2020 CFA Level III morning essay mock exams. I will grade these for you when you are ready to write them, and I will provide you with personalized feedback. You will also receive my grading key that shows you what best to write and I will show you common mistakes that others have made so you can avoid them. These mock exams with grading are only available in my CFA prep classes, not as on a standalone basis.
Homework assignments will consist of approximately 30 to 45 minutes of essay questions to practice between classes. Return them to me at the next class; these, too, will be graded by me and you get ongoing feedback.
Study breaks are built into the course, allowing you to catch up and to reinforce the knowledge that you have already built up.
If you miss a session or need help outside of class, I am available to meet with you at a mutually agreeable time. One-on-one sessions normally last between 60 to 90 minutes.
Classes are limited to 15 candidates to ensure individual attention and group collaboration. Please contact me to apply for this course. ** This course is now closed to new entrants.***
